Since my early childhood, I fond of animals, in nature and in cartoon films or cinema .. I don't know if I loved animated cartoons because of animals or loved animals because of the cartoons?.. !! but I'm sure that animals and animation are essential elements in my dream world.. so, when I started to think about preparing a master in my faculty, about animation, first thing I thought about it, was animals in animation..

I choosed a title for my master study as" Artistic and Dramatic Study of Animals in Disney's Animated Films "...I try to study how Walt Disney had chosen his characters from animals.. I try to search in history of animals paintings and drawings and stories in human history, to get to know ,how a man created from those animals characters seem like real people, and make us believe in humanity of those animals !!

I search in history of ancient man, how he has shown his animal?, why he has chosen the animal as a subject for a drawing?, how people through time and civilizations see the animals in their believes?...and reaching to modern artist and how he paints his animals in his modern subjects until finds a character designer in animation make many changes to make a new look for an animal, as an effective character in animated films.

And in many chapters I'll try to study Disney's animation in his earlier films ( from 1935-1968)in which he add animals characters . I'll study( Snow White), (Dambo), (Bambi) ,( Fantasia) until ( Jungle Book) the last Disney's films in his life..

I am still at the beginning of my study and my researching, I am still searching for data, pictures of films, sketches, critique of Disney's films, design of characters, model sheets, history of Disney ...
